Associated Groups

The Lower Clarence Art Group  – Meets on Tuesday mornings from 9:30am – 12:30pm in the old Tearooms of Maclean Showgrounds, River Street, Maclean. Artists bring their own projects to work on and enjoy support from others in the group.
Occasional invited tutors hold workshops in various mediums, watercolour, acrylic, printing, plein air, portraiture etc. New members and visitors are welcome.

The Spinners & Weavers Group
Also meet at Illarwill Hall, on Wednesdays from 10am-1pm. Learners are welcome to join this small group, spare spinning wheels are available in the hall. Weaver Chris Lokes can help you with weaving.

The Creative Needlecraft Group meets on Tuesdays at the Uniting Church Hall, Church Street, Maclean from 9am – 2pm. This is an informal group where visitors and new members are welcome to come along for a chat and a cuppa. They hold workshops monthly with the addition of outside tutors periodically.
